Solar Photovoltaic Electric Tax Credit - Phoenix Green Homes

Solar Panels or Photovoltaic Systems are solar cells that capture light energy from the sun and convert it directly into electricity.  Photovoltaic systems must provide electricity for the residence, and must meet applicable fire and electrical code requirement.

Between now and December 31, 2016, qualifying participants my be eligible for a federal tax credit up to 30% of the cost of the system, up to $500 per .5 kW of power capacity. (including the cost of installation). 
 
Qualifying homes include existing and new construction.  The homes must be the participant's primary residence or second home.  Rental homes do not qualify.
