Two Area Cities Listed in Top 100 Best Places to Live

Forbes recently released its latest Top 100 Best Places to Live and two area cities are listed. 

Gilbert, AZ ranked 36th overall as one of the best places to live in the United States while Scottsdale, AZ ranked 71st nationally.  Rankings took into account affordability, jobs, schools, crime statistics, things to do, and other features that make these cities a great place to live.

No homes were present on the Top 100 list in 2009 and Chandler had ranked 30th in 2008 while Scottsdale placed 47th and Peoria placed 55th that same year.

The 2010 list also look at the top 100 that focused on affordable housing and several Arizona cities ranked very high on the list.  Glendale, AZ ranked 6th on the list of affordable homes while Avondale, AZ came in 7th.
